LHN Celebrates National Homeschool Day: Grounded Together
The community celebrated National Homeschool Day on March 3, 2026 at the Crocodile Park Grounds, with the theme Grounded Together. Around 40% of the community families were present, and it was truly a blast.
It has been a full and busy homeschool year. Needless to say, both parents and kids needed a break from schedules, requirements, and the usual systems we follow. What better way to celebrate than with a picnic and a whole lot of free play?
The homeschoolers enjoyed reconnecting and catching up with friends. Some of them had not seen each other for quite some time because of the long break since last year. The kids played volleyball, badminton, roller skating, dodgeball, scooter, UNO, and the giant ball, which was a total hit. Laughter was everywhere.
While the children were running around, the parents had their own time of catching up too. Conversations flowed easily, and of course, everyone enjoyed the potbless snacks lovingly prepared and shared by each family.
We thank God for another year of homeschooling. We thank Him for sustaining each family through a challenging season and for keeping us grounded in what truly matters—faith, family, and learning together.
To God be all the glory.
