BSP x Aktibo Hike at Vipers Peak
On November 22, 2025, members of the BSP and Aktibo circles came together for an early morning hike to Vipers Peak, setting out as early as 6:00 AM for a day of learning, teamwork, and outdoor adventure.
The BSP and Aktibo circles’ hikes provided a meaningful opportunity to apply shared skills and values. Lessons learned during the basic mountaineering session on November 15 came to life on the trail, as participants practiced what they had previously prepared forβturning theory into experience.
Throughout the hike, participants applied essential outdoor skills such as tent making, cooking, and proper trail discipline. Each activity reinforced the importance of preparedness, cooperation, and responsibility in an outdoor setting. Working together, learners supported one another while gaining confidence in navigating natural terrain.
The experience highlighted how hands-on learning deepens understanding. Cooking meals outdoors, setting up tents, and moving safely along the trail required patience, communication, and teamworkβvalues shared by both circles despite their different focuses.
More than a hike, the BSP x Aktibo activity served as a reminder that growth often happens when learners step outside familiar spaces. By applying previously learned skills in a real-world environment, participants strengthened not only their mountaineering abilities but also their appreciation for discipline, resilience, and shared community life.
The BSP x Aktibo Hike at Vipers Peak was a meaningful blend of preparation, practice, and fellowshipβan experience that reflected the value of learning together and growing through shared challenges.
