On July 17, 2026, students from Lighthouse Homeschool Network (LHN) joined the community observance of National CPR Day at SM Lanang Premier in Davao City.
The Department of Emergency Medicine of Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) initiated this event to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
From Learners to Prepared Responders
LHN learners took part in a hands-on learning experience that introduced them to the proper way to perform CPR and respond during a medical emergency. More than simply learning a new skill, the activity helped them understand the importance of staying calm, calling for help, and taking appropriate action when someone’s life may be at risk.
