LHN Christmas Gathering 2025: Rooted & Rising – Connecting Each Family Christmas Table
LHN Christmas Gathering 2025, themed “Rooted & Rising: Connecting Each Family Christmas Table,” was held on December 5, 2025, at The Club at Northtown in Davao City, bringing families together to celebrate Christ, community, and the true meaning of Christmas.
At the heart of the gathering was a shared desire to honor Jesus Christ, the true reason for the season. More than a festive occasion, the celebration reminded us that Christmas is not defined by a date on the calendar, but by the truth of a Savior’s birth, one who offered Himself fully so that the cup of salvation might be filled for all humanity. Our joy rested in this truth: that we are deeply loved, beyond measure.
This year’s theme, “Rooted and Rising: Connecting Each Family Christmas Table,” beautifully reflected LHN’s shared values of faith, family, and community. Like trees firmly rooted in rich soil yet growing upward together, our families stood strong in gratitude and love, rising in unity as one community.
A meaningful highlight of the evening was the arrangement of connected family tables, formed into one large rectangle. Each family’s table, uniquely decorated and thoughtfully prepared, symbolized its own story of love, tradition, and creativity. When joined together, these tables became one continuous “family table,” visually expressing the heart of our theme: families rooted in faith and rising together in connection.
Throughout the evening, families shared meals, laughter, games, and creative expressions. Children and parents alike participated in activities that encouraged collaboration and joy, strengthening bonds not only within individual families but across the entire LHN community. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, generosity, and the simple delight of being together.
More than a Christmas banquet, the gathering became a space to celebrate who we are as a community, honoring our roots, embracing one another, and rejoicing in the gift of fellowship. In every shared dish, every conversation, and every smile, the spirit of Christmas was felt deeply.
